Barnes Transportation Services is a member of the National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC). NASTC holds an annual convention in Nashville, TN each November, where it awards drivers for being the best. Barnes Transportation’s drivers have won this event the following years:

Barnes Transportation Services is also a Member of the North Carolina Trucking Association (NCTA). NCTA honors companies and drivers for their compliance in safety. Barnes Transportation and its drivers have won several awards over the years for safety and great drivers.
All owner-operators leased to Barnes Transportation Services, Inc. are required to have their truck/tractor inspected every 90 days to make sure it meets FMCSA safety requirements.
This is in addition to the annual inspection required by FMCSA. This inspection must be done at the Barnes Transportation Facility. Vehicle’s found to be defective will not be dispatched until violation Part 396 is corrected. Certifications of inspections are to be given to the safety director.
